How much does an investigation cost?
Since every investigation is different, it is difficult to give a price for the services involved. Fees basically depend on the type of investigation, and the level of risk and difficulty involved.
In most cases, a retainer fee will be collected and escrowed before an investigation begins. This ensures that the investigator has working funds and the client has a sincere and vested interest in the case. We do have hourly rates that are assessed during an initial consultation. We want to help in any way possible, so we may come up with an alternative payment plan that fits your budget. We view our clients as partners in an investigation, thus we will work with you as a team to solve any issues or concerns you may have prior to initiating any service.
At the conclusion of your investigation, you will receive an itemized invoice detailing each expenditure that must be paid within 30 days.
Will the information you receive be kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your privacy and security are our top priorities. If for any reason it becomes necessary for information to be made public, the client must first give their approval and a release form must be signed.
How long does an investigation take?
The length of time needed to complete an investigation varies with the level of difficulty involved. If you have concerns about time factors versus your ability to pay a retainer, please discuss these with your investigator during the initial consultation.
Will there be any other fees associated with an investigation?
If there is travel involved the client will be responsible for reasonable expenses such as gas mileage, lodging, and meals. There also may be expenses involved for any additional equipment needs, extra personnel in cases of surveillance, and laboratory costs.
We will try to minimize all additional expenses where possible.
What if I just need some advice, what will that cost me?
We also offer consulting services for businesses which bill at $50.00 per hour.
Training programs are also available and will be developed and tailored to your needs. Pricing for training programs will be assessed during an initial consultation.
